I truly enjoyed to be in this place. The weather was pleasant, had really comfortable stay for a night. Last time I stopped, had fairly quiet room with great shower. Above average and particularly good breakfast on how eggs cooked was a nice touch. Its location was great and lovely, in residential area, and in a decent area.

Had good sleep at the classic twin room. We were in an easy location close to South Wales, the city center and Cardiff.

great access to parks and landmarks for city explorers
I enjoyed the fantastic easy access to Bute Park just a short stroll away and found the buffet breakfast to be a great start to my day of exploring. As a solo traveler, the comfortable room made it a nice base to return to after wandering around the nearby Principality Stadium and Cardiff Castle.

The room was modern, but the heating barely worked .

The rooms very nicely designed and laid out. The bathroom was excellent..., spotless and very well designed.... By comparison, the hotel reception area felt a little tired and slightly dated. Our initial impressions were that the hotel was "average", but this changed dramatically once we got to our rooms. We would stay there again.
A couple of memebers of our group didn't rate the breakfast....

We visited Bute Park and the National Museum, both easily reachable. Great breakfast options and friendly staff. The room was modern and good value. Just a heads up, it's a bit outside the main area, but worth it with a car.
We had a minor issue with a faulty window in our room that couldn't close properly, but it didn't ruin our overall experience.

Very modern hotel in good location and with sufficient parking, breakfast for British standards and hotel classification okay. Reception and restaurant staff friendly.
Showers unfortunately only have a fixed shower head on the ceiling with low pressure. Also the cleanliness of the rooms could be better: dark hair was everywhere, the cleaning of the bathroom surfaces was very incomplete and I am not sure if the bed linen for the first night since the last guest was changed.

short way from the motorway
Breakfast too expensive, only ceiling shower, noisy (water pipes)

clean, warm rooms, adequate facilities. A little pricey for one night and a little far away from the town centre for our purposes (rugby) but otherwise very good and would recommend.
Just the location for our purposes - there were no nearby pubs/restaurants/cafes or if there were we were not made aware of them.

Location was nice, near city centre by car.
Upon arrival staff were helpful. First impressions of the room were good, it was clean and things appeared to be in working order. However when switching on the tv it kept asking for a pin which was our room number we tried to clear this and it wouldn't go it kept showing clips of porn. The Walls in the hotel must be paper thin, we could hear everything from the right to the left to upstairs, including someone snooring. First morning someone had their radio on full blast at 7am and we were woken up by this. We called the reception and they sorted it out quickly. Also the doors slam very easily so constant door slamming first thing in the morning and at night waking us up. Overall it was an ok stay, but thank goodness we only stayed two nights, don't think we could take anymore door slamming. Would recommend for a short stay only.
